Who we are

Data we collect
- Booking details: name, e-mail address, phone number, address, and the driver's date of birth and driving licence details, which we need to conclude the rental agreement.
- Payment details: when you pay by card, the payment is processed by Monri Payments and your bank. We receive only the payment confirmation, the amount and the last digits of the card. We never see or store the full card number.
- Rental records: the rental agreement, the vehicle handover and return records, fines and tolls attributed to the rental.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookies as described in the Cookie Policy.
Why we use it
- to process and confirm your booking and to conclude and perform the rental agreement (performance of a contract),
- to communicate with you about your booking, pickup, return and any complaint,
- to meet legal obligations: accounting, tax, road traffic regulations and requests from authorities (for example to identify the driver for a traffic fine),
- to protect our vehicles and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (legitimate interest),
- with your consent, to send you offers by e-mail. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
Monri Payments and our acquiring bank (card payments), the platform operator Zayoto that hosts this website and booking system on our behalf, our insurer in the event of damage, our accountant, and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking and rental records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law require, in principle 10 years after the end of the year of the rental. Marketing consent data is kept until you withdraw consent. Technical data is kept for the periods stated in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, write to montecarinfo@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information of Montenegro (AZLP), or with your local supervisory authority in the EU.
Security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted (TLS) connection and stored on servers within the European Union. Card data is handled solely by the certified payment service provider.
